Article 1.(Scope of Application)
1.The accommodation contract and related agreements entered into by this inn with a guest shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established customs.
2.In the event that the inn accepts a special agreement that does not contravene any law or custom, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Article 2.(Application for Accommodation Contract)
1.A person who wishes to apply for a contract of accommodation is requested to provide the following information to the inn.
(1) Name and telephone number of the representative who will stay at the inn
(2) Date of stay, estimated time of arrival, number of persons, and age groups (adults, elementary school students, and preschool children)
(3) Other matters deemed necessary by the inn.
2.In the event that a guest requests to continue his/her stay beyond the date of stay as specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during his/her stay, the inn shall treat such request as a new application for a contract of stay at the time such request is made.
Article 3.(Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)
The accommodation contract shall be concluded when the inn accepts the application described in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when the inn proves that it did not give its consent.
Article 4.(Refusal of Accommodation Contracts)
The inn may refuse to conclude a contract of accommodation in the following cases
(1) When the application for accommodation is not in accordance with these clauses.
(2) When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
(3) When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is likely to conduct himself/herself in a manner contrary to the provisions of the law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
(4) When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay in the room falls under any of the following
(a) A person who is a Gang member as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unfair Acts by Gangs (Law No. 77 of 1991).
a Gang associate member or other antisocial forces.
(b) A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a Gang
(c) A juridical person, any of whose officers falls under the Gang.
(5) When the person seeking accommodation has said or done something that causes significant inconvenience to other guests
(6) When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as a person with a contagious disease.
(7) When a violent demand is made with regard to the accommodation, or when a burden exceeding a reasonable range is demanded.
(8) When the hotel is unable to accommodate the guest due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons.
(9) When it falls under the case of the provisions of the ordinances and regulations of Kanagawa Prefecture.
Article 5.(Right to Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Guest)
1.The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the inn.
2.If the guest does not arrive at 21:00 on the day of stay (or 2 hours after the estimated time of arrival, if such time has been specified in advance), the inn may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest.
Article 6.(Right of the inn to cancel the contract)
The inn may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases
(1) When it is recognized that the guest is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such an act.
(2) When it is recognized that the lodger falls under any of the following
(a) Gangs, Gang quasi-members or Gang-related persons or other antisocial forces
(b) When the guest is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by Gang
(c) When a juridical person has a person who falls under Gang among its officers.
(3) When a guest uses language or behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests
(4) When it is clearly recognized that the lodger is a person with a contagious disease
(5) When a violent demand is made with regard to the accommodation, or when a burden exceeding a reasonable range is demanded of the lodger.
(6) When the hotel is unable to accommodate the guest due to a force majeure such as a natural disaster.
(7) When it falls under the provisions of Kanagawa Prefecture's ordinances and regulations.
(8) When a guest does not comply with the prohibitions of the rules of use set forth by the inn (limited to those necessary for fire prevention), such as smoking in bed, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc., in the facilities.
2.When the accommodation contract is cancelled by the inn in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the inn shall not charge the guest for accommodation services that the guest has not yet received.
Article 7.(Registration)
Guests are requested to register the following items at the inn on the day of their stay
(1) Guest's name, age, gender, address and occupation
(2) In the case of a foreigner, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry
(3) Date and scheduled time of departure
(4) Other matters deemed necessary by the inn
Article 8.(Occupancy Hours of Guest Rooms)
Guests may use their rooms from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following morning. However, in the case of consecutive stays, guests may use the room all day except for the day of arrival and the day of departure.
Article 9.(Observance of Hotel Regulations)
Guests are required to follow the rules of use established by the inn and posted in the inn.
Article 10.(Payment of Accommodation Charges)
1.The breakdown of accommodation charges to be paid by the guest is clearly indicated at each accommodation site.
2.Payment of Accommodation Charges shall be made at each accommodation site.
3. Accommodation charges will be collected even if a guest voluntarily does not stay at the inn after the inn has been offered and made available for use by the Guest.
Article 11.(Handling of Deposited Articles)
The inn does not accept cash or valuables. It is the responsibility of each guest to keep their own valuables in safekeeping.
Article 12.(Liability in Regard to Parking)
When a Guest uses our parking lot, regardless of whether or not he/she deposited the key of the vehicle, we rent the space to the guest and we are not responsible for the management of the vehicle.
However, if Gest intentionally or through gross negligence causes damage in the management of the parking lot, Gest will be held responsible for compensation.
Article 13.(Liability of the Guest)
If our inn suffers any damage due to Gest's willful misconduct or negligence, said Gest shall compensate us for such damage.
